April 19th, 2004
The meeting was continued on April 19th, 2004. Those present were: Mayor Bob Cunningham. Trustees; Stephen Allen, Wendy Piekielniak, Lisa Beagle and Peter Billard. Also attending was Jim Moseman.
Doug Meeker should not hook up to the sewer. A letter needs to be sent.
We need and easement from Remsen Development Corp. It needs to be surveyed.
Bob thinks if Jack's surveyor does a good job we should have him survey where the housing project plans to be.
It was discussed that their might not be water on the north side of Phelps Road. They could pay to come to our line.
It was decided that the water rates need to be raised. More discussion will follow.
Bob will tell George that the old Pianella's junk cars are still there.
Tug Hill is sending someone to our May 24th, meeting.
The Town of Remsen, Village of Remsen tax rate will be $4.48.
The Town of Trenton, Village of Remsen tax rate will be $4.23.
Lisa made the resolution to adopt the budget. Seconded by Wendy. All approved and carried.
Stephen made the resolution to adjourn the meeting at 9:52pm. Seconded by Peter. All approved and carried.
