The special meeting of the Board of Trustees, Village of Remsen met on July 26th, 2004, at 5:00 pm at the Village Hall on Pine Street in the Village, to discuss the bid opening.

Those present were: Mayor Bob Cunningham, Trustees; Wendy Piekielniak, Stephen Allen, Lisa Beagle, and Peter Billard. Also attending were; Attorney Jim Moseman, Fred Cassidy, and Jack Dodson.

Jessica Williams is requesting inspection of her building and to drop her sewer units from 3 - 1. Fred will inspect her building.

The Board discussed the bid. They said yes to do Depot Street at $60,000.00. They said no to painting the tanks at $120,000.00. They also said no to the electrical at $14,000.00 and no to the electronic instrumentation at $58,000.00.

Wendy made the resolution to accept Bat-Cons's bid at $976,000.00 as the low responsible and responsive bidder less the following contingencies: Painting the water tanks, instrumentation, and electrical, and awarding the contract at the net figure of $844,000.00. Seconded by Lisa. All approved and carried.

Lisa made the motion to adjourn at 6:04 p.m. Seconded by Stephen. All approved and carried.
