August 9^th, 2004

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees, Village of Remsen met on August 9th, 2004, at 7:00 pm at the Village Hall on Pine Street in the Village.

Those present were: Mayor Bob Cunningham, Trustees; Wendy Piekielniak, Stephen Allen, , and Peter Billard. Also attending was Fred Cassidy.

The minutes were read and a treasurer's report was given. Balances were as follows: General Fund -$119,123.39,Water Fund - $4,122.85, Sewer Fund -$54,632.28, Money Market -$187.27,Chips -$4,354.34, General Truck -$23,255.19, Emergency Services -$45,328.98, ESCIF -$56,761.59, WECIF -$28,958.84, SECIF -$53,523.31, Street Repairs -$18,120.33, and Water Capital -$88,300.86.

Stephen made the motion to approve them. Seconded by Wendy. All approved and carried.

Bills of the month were audited and a motion was made by Peter to pay them. Seconded by Stephen. All approved and carried.

We discussed the water tanks. The ladder on the tank needs to be enclosed. We need a fence around the electrical.

We discussed the possibility that we would be able to file a claim on the water leak we had during the winter.

The clerk will check past minutes to see if it mentions Phil Williams's sewer.

Wendy made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:50. Seconded by Bob. All approved and carried.
