The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees, Village of Remsen met on November 8th, 2004, at 7:00 pm at the Village Hall on Pine Street in the Village.

Those present were: Mayor Bob Cunningham, Trustees; Wendy Piekielniak, Stephen Allen, Lisa Beagle, and Peter Billard. Also attending were; Attorney Jim Moseman, Fred Cassidy, and John Zamek.

The minutes were read and a treasurer's report was given. Balances were as follows: General Fund -$116,316.69,Water Fund -$3891.33, Sewer Fund -$57,260.14, Money Market - $187.73,

Chips -$4,366.16, General Truck -$23,319.22, Emergency Services -$18,489.51, ESCIF -$83,981.17, WECIF -$24,593.34, SECIF - $53,668.60, Street Repairs -$18,169.52, and Water Capital -$1,530.36.

Wendy made the motion to approve them. Seconded by Stephen. All approved and carried.

Bills of the month were audited and a motion was made by Peter to pay them. Seconded by Lisa. All approved and carried.

Stephen made the motion to have the Clerk publish the Election notice in the Rome Sentinel. Seconded by Wendy. All approved and carried.

John Zamek came to let the Board know that he is interested in the Water job. The Board let him know there are classes offered in Claverack, NY.

Fred told the Board that he needs help with the empty houses in the Village. If the Board knows of any let him know.

Fred also discussed that there is a hydraulic problem on the tractor and he needs to go to Clinton Tractor. The Green Dump truck needs a gas tank. The Brown truck has been to Shufelt's a few times because it won't shift out of first gear.

The Mayor told Fred to call Utica Hydraulic.

Fred asked what his duties are?

Lisa made the motion to approve payment #2 at $200,602.46. Seconded by Peter. All approved and carried.

Stephen made the resolution to authorize the payment of $ Guys Inc. in the amount of $88,960.00. Seconded by Wendy. All approved and carried.

The Clerk was told to get a print out of Neil VanPatten's and Mel Smith's water-sewer account.

Pat Gear has moved out.

A brand new service was put into Angel's house.

Wendy made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:00pm. Seconded by Stephen. All approved and carried.
