The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees Village of Remsen met on June 12th, 2000 at the Village Hall on Pine Street.

Those present were: Mayor Robert Cunningham, Trustees Stephen Allen, Wendy Piekielniak, Lisa Beagle and Peter Billard. Also attending were: Steve Hunter, Fred Cassidy, Clyde Spicer, Beverly Dougherty, Jack Postal, Bob Eaton, Amanda Nasuto, and Attorney Jim Moseman.

The minutes were read and a treasurer's report was given. Balances were read as follows: Money Market $174.57, Chips $948.44, Water Emergency Capital Improvement Fund $27,082.10, Emergency Services Capital Improvement Fund $11,841.96, General $41,094.05, Water $17,160.43, Sewer $67,613.17, and Emergency Services $57,601.08. Stephen made the motion to approve them. Seconded by Peter. All approved and carried.

Bills of the month were audited and a motion was made by Lisa to pay them. Seconded by Peter. All approved and carried.

Street light problems are still existing on Mitchell Drive and by the Post Office.

Harold told that the water is to be tested in Utica by the Water Board.

Adirondack Drilling is to be paid $1,080.00 for the work done during the HUD project.

The Clerk will get a listing of all the non metered residents.

Jack Postal and Beverly Dougherty questioned the Board as why Pleasant Ave. is not a Village Road.

Bob spoke of a county wide program to inspect abandoned homes.

The old pump house was discussed. The fire company would like to put a dry hydrant there. Bob Eaton told the board that this was his last year as president of the Fire Company.

June 24th is the Niagara Mohawk Auction.

Steve Hunter spoke of a workshop on village audits to be held on June 15th in Utica and in Boonville. He also spoke of the Internet Home page. They would need at least one person or more from here.

Fred spoke of work being done on a drain on Maple Ave. and starting to change the sand in one of the beds.

Jim spoke of the Wellhead Protection Plan. One paragraph needs to be taken out.

Jim spoke of the road cut bond. He will contract with Tim Dunn to see if we are bonded.

Wendy made the resolution to renew the BAN (prepayable). Seconded by Lisa. All approved and carried.

Stephen made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Lisa. All approved and carried.
