The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees Village of Remsen met on July 10th, 2000 at the Village Hall on Pine Street.

Those present were: Mayor Robert Cunningham Trustees: Stephen Allen, Wendy Piekielniak, Lisa Beagle and Peter Billard. Also attending were: Attorney Jim Moseman, Harold Spicer, Gerry Ritter, Jim and Helen Smith, Frank Buckingham, Carlene Roberts, and Jim and Marilyn Joslin.

The minutes were read and a Treasurer's report was given. Balances w ere read as follows: Water $26,692.00, General $41,640.34, Sewer $62,912.84, Emergency Services $51,300.17, Chips $1,839.82, Water Emergency Capital Improvement fund $27,152.91, Emergency Services Capital Improvement Fund $11,892.31,and Sewer Emergency Capital Improvement Fund.

$50,000.00. Peter made the motion to approve them. Seconded by Wendy. All approved and carried.

Bills of the month were audited and a motion was made by Lisa to pay them. Seconded by Stephen. All approved and carried.

Complaints were recorded on the color of the Village water and the damage it has done to clothes, hair and etc. It was decided to let the water run at the end of the lines continually.

Complaints were also heard about the smell of the Sewer plant. Mainly when the wind comes from the south.

The Clerk was asked to have Niagara Mohawk shut off the power to the old pump house. She will also call Agway to have the fuel tank pumped.

The Board was notified that Andrew Sherman is done as far as being the Fire and Building Codes Enforcer.

Lisa made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:12. Seconded by Peter. All approved and carried.
