The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees Village of Remsen met on August 14th,2000 at 7:00p.m. at the Village Hall on Pine Street.
Those present were: Mayor Bob Cunningham, Trustees; Wendy Piekielniak, Peter Billard and Lisa Beagle. Also attending were; Tom Mc Donald, Fred Cassidy, Mr. And
The minutes were read and a treasurers report was given. Balances were read as follows: General $34,423.37, Emergency Services $39,044.02, Sewer $16,716.88, Water $16,130.34, General Truck $12,017.69, Money Market $175.76, Chips $1,846.95, WECIF $27,288.25, SECIF $50,217.20, and ESCIF $11,922.61.
Wendy made the motion to approve them. Seconded by Peter. All approved and carried.
Bills of the month were audited and a motion was made by Lisa to pay them. Seconded by Wendy. All approved and carried.
John Secor told of a culvert by the Depot. The Board decided to pay for the pipe and culvert and the Town will dig it.
Mr and Mrs Narbone came to complain about the water. They said it has been a year and it is not fixed yet.
The Board asked them to wait a week and let us know if there is a change.
The Mayor informed the Board that Lisa Seitz is no longer in charge of housing grants.
The September meeting about the Wellhead Protection Plan will be held on September 13th at the school in the media center.
Tom spoke of the fire contracts. Quackenbush from the County has helped by giving him a colored map.
Peter made the resolution to authorize the FOIL request from McLane and Smith. Seconded by Lisa. All approved and carried.
We need to join UFPO.
The sale of the Murray house is on the 19th.
A sign is needed for Mitchell Drive.
A logo for the Village was discussed.
Weeding is needed by the falls.
Lisa made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:23. Seconded by Peter. All approved and carried.
