Minutes
The Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees Village of Remsen met on September 11th, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall on Pine Street in the Village.
Those present were: Mayor Robert Cunningham, Trustees; Wendy Piekielniak, Stephen Allen, and Lisa Beagle.
Also attending were; Mr. and Mrs. Narbone, Mr. and Mrs. Vary, Steve Hunter, Harold Spicer and Attorney Jim Moseman.
The minutes were read and a treasurer's report was given. Balances were read as follows: Money Market $176.15, Chips $1,851.64, WECIF $27,357.59, SECIF $50,357.95, ESCIF $11,952.99, Emergency Services $32,019.96, General $37,123.56, General Truck $12,051.20, Sewer $4,207.16, and Water $12,016.17.
Wendy made the motion to approve them. Seconded by Lisa. All approved and carried.
Bills of the month were audited and a motion was made by Lisa to pay them. Seconded by Wendy. All approved and carried.
The Narbones and Vary's both reported their water is not any better. The Vary's filters are filling up every 3 weeks.
The Board told the Clerk not to pay the Slack Chemical or JEM bills until we get results with the water.
Steve Hunter told of changing of zoning on Route 12 on both sides from the Town Line.
The NOCOOG dinner will be held on October 25th, at the Franklin Hotel in Rome.
Wendy called the Johnsons, Joslins, and the Buckinghams about their water. Water is still no good.
Harold will put a call into the Health Department to tell them what we are putting in the water.
The Estate of Myron Buck sold to Jeanette Walters and Charlie Appleton. The Murray's house on Maple Ave. was sold to John and Amy Williams. Tom McDonald's house was sold to the Pirnies. Could have a change in their sewer units.
The Nash bill was discussed. He will not be paid until all work is finished.
Stephen made the resolution to schdule a Public Forum Meeting with Steve Winkley. The Clerk is to publish and post the date of this meeting. Wendy seconded the motion. All approved and carried.
Lisa made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Stephen. All approved and carried.
